YO! FAQ

How long should I wait for my photos?

You can expect your wedding photos to be completed within 4-6 weeks or 6-8 weeks during wedding season. For all other shoots you can expect the photos within 3 weeks. I will always let my clients know if there is going to be a short delay (sickness, travel).

How many photos will I receive?

Depends on the package you book.

For a full wedding day I deliver 600-800 images (on average).

For portraits (couples and family) you can expect 50 images for an hour shoot.

Yes, all the photos you receive are edited by me.

Please do not edit over the images with instagram filters (or any filters for that matter). A small part of me dies when I see that. It’s like ordering a curry at an expensive Thai restaurant and then covering it with BBQ sauce!

Do you edit all the photos I receive?

What do we wear for our family or couple shoot?

I got ya, babe! Once you have paid your deposit for the shoot I will flick you through a What to Wear Guide full of helpful suggestions and advice. You'll nail it.

No, sorry. I choose the images that I feel are the best reflection of the day and of you. I then edit them with the style you have booked me for.

Can I have access to all the unedited images?

The second shooter’s job is to focus on the moments I might miss such as the groom’s preparations (if he is getting ready further away), candids of guests and reception set up while we’re away on portraits. Chat to me more about your day and we can work out if a second shooter is necessary.

Should we have a second shooter at our wedding?

I recommend one hour of shooting time. This includes the bridal party and the couple. Make sure you allow enough time for travel from ceremony to photoshoot, and then from photoshoot to the reception. All of this is mentioned in my Wedding Guide you receive once you book.

How long do we need for the wedding photoshoot?

Can I give my other suppliers copies of the photos?

Unfortunately not. Your wedding photographs are not free advertising material for other vendors. If they ask you for the photos please have them email me for more information.

What's in the Wedding Guide?

All my wedding couples receive a Wedding Guide that is jam packed with photography tips and tricks to make the most out of your day from a photography perspective. The guide also has an entire section dedicated to wedding day timings to help you maximise the time with your guests and each other while getting in some pretty shots!

At the time of booking you will pay a $1000 booking fee for me to hold your date and turn away all other potential clients. This deposit is legally non-refundable. I can refund the booking fee or move it to a new date if someone else books your original date. Please chat with me further if you need to cancel or reschedule.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule our wedding?

What happens if you're sick or cannot attend our wedding?

God forbid this happens! The only reason I will not be able to shoot a wedding is if something DRASTIC happens to me or a loved one. Luckily, I have access to a very large community of amazing photographers who would be able to shoot the wedding for me (I would then edit the images). If I cannot find someone then I will offer a full refund.

I love embracing whatever is thrown at us. However if there is a chance to reschedule (like a family shoot) or if the weather will ruin my camera gear then we can.
