The wedding of Ash and Amber was so spectacular that even a giant blog post won’t do it justice! Their wedding was held in Amber’s quirky childhood home, with the ceremony in the intimate front garden (the girls scissor, paper, rocked who was going to walk down the aisle first) and the dance floor raging in the living room until the wee hours of the morning. Amber’s mum is a collector of vintage pieces so the home was an incredible display of everything you can image. So much fun to photograph! Wood fired pizza, live music, a home full of love and stories and Ash’s family all the way from Ireland – this wedding was an absolute VIBE.
Ok so before you scroll down I gotta tell you this funny story about what happened at this wedding. Ash’s parents visited all the way from Ireland, they got along like a house on fire and spent the morning with Ash getting ready. Later during canapés the two of them were having some time together out the front so I used this chance to ask them some questions while taking a few snaps of them together. I asked them how long they have been married for and their marriage advice – the answer was simple “Just be happy together”. I then said “KISS CAM” and had them give each other a big smooch before leaving them to it and going around to the rest of the guests.
Later on Ash comes running up to me and says
“You know mum and dad aren’t together?!”
“Umm what..?!” So confused.
“Yeah they broke up when I was 13.”
Oops! Ash’s parents have now become # Separated Couple Goals! (pictured below)
