How long should I wait for my photos?
You can expect your wedding photos to be completed within 4-6 weeks. For all other shoots you can expect the photos within 3 weeks. I will always let my clients know if there is going to be a short delay (sickness, travel).
How many photos will I receive?
On average I deliver 600-700 images for a full wedding day.
For portraits (couples, family, female portraits etc) you can expect 50 images for a hour shoot.
Do you edit all the photos I receive?
Yes, all the photos you receive are edited by me.
Can I have access to all the unedited images?
No. I choose the images that I feel are the most flattering to you and then I edit them with my style. You wouldn’t ask an artist for their first drafts or a chef for their left over ingredients so please don’t ask your photographer for their culled, unedited images. If you would like more images than what was initially quoted to you then please let me know and I can arrange additional edited images at an additional cost.
What are your rates?

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! Whether your wedding is down the road or overseas I would love to be there to capture your story. Please let me know in your enquiry where your wedding is.
How long do you stay at weddings for?
My wedding package includes all day coverage. This means I am there from when you are getting ready until well into the night. At the average wedding I’m usually there for 10-12 hours.
Do you do albums?
Yes I do. You can see examples here. Please contact me for further information on my albums and pricing.
Do you work alone?
Yes. There is an option to add a second shooter to your wedding package for an additional fee if you so desire.
Why should we have a second shooter at our wedding?
To ensure not a moment is missed! The second shooter’s job is to focus on the moments I might miss such as the groom’s preparations if he is getting ready more than 10 minutes away, canapés and guests mingling while family photos are being taken etc. They also capture a lot of the guests and other details while I’m focussing on the bridal party. Please let me know if you are interested in a second shooter and I can provide you with more information.
How long do we need for the wedding photoshoot?
I recommend one hour of shooting time. If you have a bridal party of ten or more then I recommend more time. Make sure you allow enough time for travel from ceremony to photoshoot, and then from photoshoot to the reception. If you are having difficulty planning the days event please let me know, I have been to plenty of weddings and I’m happy to advise.
Do you shoot newborns and children?
I sure do! I offer lifestyle sessions only for both newborns and children. Examples can be seen here and here.
Do you have a travel fee?
Yes. Please let me know in your enquiry email where you are located.
For Mackay clients I only require return flights. I do not require accommodation or car hire as I stay with my family.
Do I receive high resolution images?
Yes, all images given to you are edited, high resolution images on a USB.
Can I put the images on Facebook and Instagram?
You sure can, however you are not to edit the photos in any way (e.g. Instagram filters). If there is anything you are unsure about, please just ask.
Can I give my other suppliers copies of the photos?
Unfortunately not. You paid for your photos so they will need to do the same. Your wedding photographs are not free advertising for them. Please tell your suppliers to contact me directly if they would like to the use the images for their website, portfolios or social media.
